The brief
Refurbish sixty existing homes for Tata Chemicals Magadi, bringing external repairs and internal renewal into one programme.
Across the units
Building repairs and finishing trades were coordinated across the residential blocks. Rooms, openings and circulation areas repeated from one unit to the next, requiring the same repair and finishing tasks to be carried through each block.
The completed programme
The refurbishment was completed over seven months, with a contract value of KES 54M. The gallery shows construction-stage repairs and interior preparation within that programme.
